Participation
If the team is selected in the drawing, every member of the team receives a starting spot.
There is no team ranking. Each person runs individually and is listed individually in the results.
If a team member is unable to run after the drawing, this has no effect on the other members of the team. It is not possible to add a replacement team member.
To register as a fast runner, you must upload proof of your qualifying time and age via your user account during the registration process.
Registering as a fast runner does not guarantee a spot in the race. You will receive notification of acceptance or rejection after your documentation has been reviewed, as soon as the results of the lottery are announced.
Make sure that all qualification information is clearly visible on your proof of qualification. If your proof is invalid, your registration will be included in the general lottery.
Proof
Only official certificates and links to a race’s official results page will be accepted as proof.
Only marathon times will be considered. These must not be older than 2 years. (Proof from 2025, 2026)

Please be sure to list one or two emergency contacts in your user account.
During an event, we and various institutions such as the police, fire brigade or medical aid organisations often receive search requests for the whereabouts of missing participants. In order to be able to answer these as quickly as possible and in compliance with data protection laws, we ask you to list one or two contact persons to whom we may provide information should they request info as to whether you are undergoing medical treatment in a hospital.
We require the surname, first name, date of birth and telephone number of the contact persons. Please understand that in case of inquiries – whether by telephone or at the information points in the finish area – we are only allowed to give information to the persons you have personally authorized with your registration.
We will contact a contact person named by you only in very special medical emergencies.
The indication of an emergency contact is voluntary.
