For almost four years, SCC EVENTS and the WWF have been linked by a special partnership that goes far beyond a typical charity co-operation. What began as a classic charity project has now developed into an intensive collaboration aimed at making sporting events more sustainable.
The anniversary festival of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON has reached its first highlight with the grand opening of the MOVE - Home of the BERLIN-MARATHON. In addition to the “50 Years of BERLIN-MARATHON” exhibition, the visitor magnets of the first few days included readings and talks with Hajo Schumacher and Friedrich Liechtenstein as well as the early bird run and lunch break yoga.
Starting signal for the 50th BMW BERLIN-MARATHON on RTL! In cooperation with SCC EVENTS, the Cologne-based channel will be broadcasting this year's anniversary event live for the first time on 29 September from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
When the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON celebrates its 50th anniversary from 28 to 29 September 2024, organiser SCC EVENTS is expecting well over 50,000 athletes from all over the world.
Over 50,000 runners from more than 150 nations will come to Berlin on the last weekend in September. They will all take part in the 50th BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2024, organized by SCC EVENTS. There will also be top-class national athletes in the fields
